Feature ponds

We design, build and restore all the elements that combine to create an interesting feature pond. The art is in building a coherent combination and integrating that combination into the surrounding landscape.

Feature pond - a definition:
A portmanteau description of a design type (style) of pond combined with one or more specified elements such as; a raised pond with lilies and fountain; wildlife pond with jetty; natural pond with boathouse and island.

A couple of tips:
Never (well, almost never) place a fountain and a waterfall or cascade in the same view. Too confusing - water going both up and down! "Less is more." Not a bad place to start when considering a feature pond of any size. Maintenance of feature ponds is simply that maintenance required by the individual elements combining to create the feature pond.
