We design and build off-stream ponds in Surrey, West Sussex and Hampshire.
Here's a thought:
An island in the middle of a pond
ruins the long view across
the water
from every direction.
Building a pond off-stream permits control of the water entering the pond and therefore reduces the rate of siltation. With a well designed off-stream pond and attendant water control structures, it is also possible to shut off the stream supply altogether to allow pollutants to bypass the off-stream pond if the need arises. These days, an off-stream pond is the only type of stream-fed pond that the Environment Agency may be inclined to permit. Construction of an off-stream (stream-fed) pond invariably requires approval from the Environment Agency.
We design, build, plant, maintain and repair off-stream ponds in Surrey, West Sussex and Hampshire.
We plant, restore and repair off-stream ponds and attendant water control structures, banks and bypass streams, always having regard to the creation and maintenance of sustainable and diverse habitat - that's where the plants come in!
